Though summer may be winding down and nights are already spent wrapped in a sweater (mine are, anyway. Sob), it doesn’t mean it’s time to put away those bright lacquer just yet. If I can’t keep the sun out for much longer, I’m all for keeping the heat around on my nails -in the form of super bright colors. Ceramic Glaze Watermelon Cooler is so perfect, I don’t even know where to start. First of all, this was my first time trying the brand -and o.m.g. Love is not even the word. I first saw them in the pharmacy and actually thought they were a rip off of China Glaze (for obvious reasons). Turns out China Glaze makes these polishes (um, score) and they’re seriously amazing. Opaque in one coat, this color went on perfectly. It dried matte (first three photos), which I was completely not expecting. And I usually don’t like matte finishes, but I loved it with this bright teal color. There’s like some super, super fine shimmer or something in these that doesn’t make it look boring and flat. Instead it just looks… awesome. It looked so damn good matte, I just knew it would look killer with topcoat -and I was right. Like, how pretty is that? So pretty. I’m so in love.
