Now this is how you do orange. I’m no fan of orange polish, unless it’s around Halloween (which, it kind of is -omg) and even then, I mean, it’s not the most flattering. But this orange (actually referred to on the site as tangerine twinkle —um, adorable), I can deal with. As part of her Mermaid collection, Deborah Lippmann’s Million Dollar Mermaid is a sherbert hued polish that reminds me of orange creamsicles… and any any polish that brings on thoughts of food is a winner to me. Like the other colors in this collection, it has the same pretty glitters throughout, and though it’s speaking more hallows-eve appropriate at the moment, is definitely mermaid inspired, and super girly. If I don’t do some wacky, ghoulish nail art this October 31, this classy, glittery shade will be on my fingertips as a more subdued alternative that’s still totally abides by the holiday’s classic colors. The photos above are two smooth coats plus topcoat. Are you as in love as me?
