We’re already a few days into fall, but the weather is feeling more like it’s mid-July and not nearly October. I’m not complaining, though… if it were up to me it would be summer all year round! One thing I do love about fall (besides the fashion and colour-changing leaves) is the nail polish, of course. Spring and summer brights are awesome, but there’s something about deep, rich hues that tugs at my heart-strings. I love Essie’s range of colours and I figured I’d round-up some of my favourite options for autumn.
Warm & Toasty Turtleneck • Lilac is my favourite colour so for me, it’s pretty much seasonless. I love it in the dead of winter just as much as in the spring. So, it’s no surprise it made my fall cut! I love this shade and the name is just too cute to resist.
Chinchilly • I feel like this shade is an Essie classic and I really like a cool great tone for fall. So chic!
Mind your Mittens • Bringing a brighter blue into the mix is really nice for autumn! Again, it switches things up but isn’t so bright. This shade was a little streaky and didn’t apply the best, but once on the nail I can’t get enough.
In Stitches • This probably isn’t a colour everyone would gravitate to for fall, but I love how it’s a pop of colour without being too much. It’s like a deep-ish, dusty burnt coral and I think it’s a great “bright” alternative to a typical fall shade.
In the Lobby • You really can’t go wrong with a rich burgundy hue in the autumn and this is a definite winner in my books. Super pretty on the nail and it applies really well.
After School Boy Blazer • I always reach for this shade when I want an almost-black blue. I love this colour and it applies super well in just one coat (but I always apply two for good measure).
Parka Perfect • This deep green is so nice for fall! Plus, it applies so nicely in two coats.
So that’s my fall nail polish round-up ft. Essie. There are so many more I love… would you like to see a favourites post by brand? Don’t forget to let me know your fave shades in the comments!
