Ok, it’s not just me, right? Like, these came out really pretty?
I knew I wanted to remember this pregnancy with some special photos so I had the Mr. take some pics of me this past weekend. It was super low-key (I knew I didn’t want a professional photographer or anything super staged so we just decided to skip that altogether) and the pics came out sooooo pretty! At least I like to think so!
I scoured Pinterest to find some maternity photoshoot inspo and as soon as I came across a dreamy floral milk bath, I knew I had to do it, too. All it took was some flowers of your choice (I used two dozen roses from Costco cause they’re by far the best price, along with a bundle of baby’s breath and some white carnations) and a two-litre carton of milk. Just cut your flowers at the stems, fill your bath up with water + milk, (it’ll feel like you’re soaking in some super fancy-schmancy spa) and get in! I just let the flowers float around–you can’t control them much anyway.
I personally don’t love the shape or style of our bathtub so the Mr. was under strict instructions to get as little of it as possible in the photos, hence why my face isn’t in any of the shots. But we loved how these turned out so much that we’re gonna take some couple pics this weekend so dad could get in on the action, too!
As far as my robe goes, I got a super affordable one off of Amazon. My bra is crazy old from Aerie (you can probably totally tell it doesn’t even fit anymore but it’s the only nude-neutral one I had!). My nail colour is CND Sage Scarf which I’ve been loving!
So that’s pretty much it! For a mini-maternity shoot on a budget (hello, no photographer fees!), I think these came out so, so pretty! I’d love to know what you guys think so leave me a comment down below.
(P.S. All these pics are edited with the Rosé Love preset from Jillian Harris and I’m just obsessed!)
