From left to right: Essie Topless & Barefoot, Sally Hansen White Out, and China Glaze Fairy Dust
So first thing’s first: I broke a nail, meaning my middle finger may look a little stubby in the next couple of posts. I’ll try taking photos of my left hand next time, but I can guarantee that it’ll probably be extremely awkward. Anyway, I really love gradient/ombré nails but they can be a bit of a pain and a total mess to do… I tired this out with blue and white and it just wasn’t having it. So I opted for classic colours; nude goes with everything and it’s a little less harsh when you’re trying to blend it with white. Here’s a tip: if you’re doing ombré nails and you’re not super happy with how they’re coming out, adding a top of coat with fine glitter in it, like Fairy Dust (if you don’t have it, seriously go run and find it; it makes every single manicure instantly better), will help give the illusion that the colours are better blended together.
