There are almost no words when it comes to describing Positano, but I’ll try and muster up a few. The first is obvious: It’s incredibly beautiful. Like, never-want-to-close-my-eyes beautiful, how-is-this-place-even-real beautiful and my fave, I-can’t-believe-I’m-here beautiful. You get it, it’s gorgeous. Visiting was a total dream-come-true as I’ve wanted to come to the Amalfi coast since forever. Bucket list, checked!
Our apartment had such a picture-perfect view (the scenery pics above were pretty much all taken from our balcony) and we lucked out because there was only 100 or so steps to get up to our place. We had a perfect view of the beach and the mountainside… literally breathtaking.
While there, we took a boat ride for the day, sailed by Capri and soaked up the sun. The rest of the time, we we’re gladly parked on the beach. Food was amazing and gelato was mandatory at least once a day (especially the lemon flavour).
All-in-all, I’m pretty smitten with Positano and would go back in a heartbeat if I could (I volunteer as tribute!). Those views are truly one-of-a-kind. P.S. My Italy posts are coming to a close! Stay tuned for one more, and then it’s back to regularly-scheduled programming. :)
