Nearly a month ago (or more, who knows?) I received some polish beauties via mail from Revlon and was super intrigued by their ‘pebbled’ labels. But I just got the polish bottles… no paper, no press release, nada! So I did the swatches and completely forgot about them… but fell in love with the shades in the process. Now, I know their part of the Revlon Haute Rocks collection (and they’re limited edition) and I totally hope these are still out because they’re beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, I might try to hunt down two shades I didn’t get: Balinese Bay (it’s purple so I need it) and Moroccan Oasis. They’re soooo pretty. So I know I should be the one telling you, but do any of you know if these shades are still in stores? Anyway, on to the goof stuff. My swatches below are two coats with no top coat. Enjoy!
Alright, this shade is not part of the collection, I know, but I wanted to throw it in here just the same since it’s the only one I have from their Tweed & Downtown Leather collection (also limited edition). This is Revlon’s Motorcycle Jacket and I think it’s the best think since sliced toast. As the bottle says, it’s ‘leather,’ which means it’s got a nice leather-like finish to it. It dries with this gritty texture (which feels smoother than it looks) but I love that it’s super shiny, not matte. It applied smoothly and is great for those head-to-toe-black days. And I love that it’s a little different, too.
Okay, on to the Haute Rocks Collection. This dreamy polish is Seychelles Sand and if this isn’t the prettiest thing you’ve seen all day, then please. The bottles all say ‘pebbled’ on them, but they aren’t exactly like the liquid sand or pixie dust style polishes. These are essentially dense, mattified glitters in a coloured base. I’m so in love that this is matte –I think it makes it even more beautiful and totally reminds me of sand in the Seychelles. Except I’ve never been there so I really wouldn’t know. LOVE this colour.
Tahitian Coast is another great one. All of these polishes are essentially the same formula just in different colours, so this applied nicely as well and is a really pretty pink.
Mayan Riviera is the green-toned version and I like it, but it’s just too holiday for me. The pink glitters remind me of red, and well, what else can red and green remind me of besides Christmas time? So while I think it’s great, I’ll be saving this one for tree trimming.
How pretty is this!? Lana’i Lagoon (so obsessed with all these amazingly tropical names. SOMEONE TAKE ME AWAY) is a gorgeous vibrant blue. Just looking at the photo, it’s making me want to paint my nails this colour right now. Love, love, loveeeee.
So that’s it! Do you like this collection or own any shades already? I’d love to know which are your favourites. x

Where I can buy this in US?

Hi Katia! I’m not sure it’s still out, but I’d assume any drugstore where they sell Revlon polish. x
