I’ve been coveting some Tryst Lacquers polish for a while now thanks to Instagram (what else?) and I’ve been following the owner of the indie polish brand since way back. The swatches she puts up of her creations are always so spot on that it made it pretty easy to know what I wanted for my birthday this year. This is one coat of Spring Fling over a base of white. The polish base itself is a very sheer, milky white and two coats for me, with no white polish under, wasn’t opaque enough for my liking. I really can’t stand when you see the white of your nail through the polish. I love it over a white base, but the polish looks so good with a milky base (see what I’m talking about here). Next time I’m definitely going to apply a more sheer colour with this over so that I get the same look I fell in love with, without using three or more coats of the polish. Other than that I’d have to say I really love it. The neon glitters are perfect and really stand out and the polish is great; easy to apply and work with, but you do have to fish around a little for the bigger glitters. For my first indie polishes (I got six more bottles from Tryst Lacquers, so there will be more to come!), I’m super impressed!
