I’m sure by now you guys can tell how much I absolutely love Zoya. I mean, my only two posts the last couple of months have been on their collections. Well, they did it again with Jubilee! Their holiday colours are so pretty! They can do no wrong, I tell ya. My swatches of their latest collection are below, but I’m missing two colours… I swatched them on two separate days (my nails broke in between and I had to chop ’em off, hence the long and then short nails. Ugh!) and I thought I had photos of all the colours but I’m missing Carson and Juniper. I’ll update with those ASAP, but for now, enjoy these pretties.
Taryn
Not gonna lie, this pink isn’t my favourite. This kind of pearly shade never really does it for me and gives me grandma vibes, but that’s probably just me. If you’re into these types of shades, then this is a great formula.
Danica
This deep teal colour is not even coming up half as pretty as in real life. I wish I could show you just how beautiful this jewel-tone is, but it’s not coming up so you’ll just have to take my word for it. It’s stunning and was the one colour I immediately gravitated towards. So stunning with a perfect application (I’m talking one coat, people!).
Astrid
Anyone else think of The Bachelor when they hear the name Astrid? Just me? Anyway, unfortunately this is another colour that isn’t for me, BUT I will say that I’m pleasantly surprised by it. It was super opaque for two coats and is crazy shiny and sparkly. I just don’t think it looks all that great on me. But if gold’s your thing, seriously this is probably one of the best formulas I’ve tried.
Leigh
I love a good nude and Leigh is no exception. It’s a tad on the yellow side for my liking but is soooo opaque that it doesn’t even matter. It applies so creamy and easily, I just can’t take it. Love!
Kateri
Alright ladies, this was a one coat polish and while I don’t dig browns, it’s a pretty awesome one. I know it’s basically coming off as black, but I’d like to think of this as a rich espresso shade — so much more chic sounding, no? If you want dark nails but are opposed to black, this is the perfect alternative. And I’m surprised how good it looked on.
Allison
This pinkish-red is basically only coming up as red in this photo, but I swear it leans more pink than anything else and is super pretty. Nothing to write home about, but a solid colour with an amazing formula, as usual. There’s nothing not to like!
Maxine
Maxine is the most red colour in the collection and it’s super gorgeous! I mean, Zoya just has the best formula so even if the colour is pretty basic, it’s worth getting just for the easiest application ever.
Leopard Spots Topper over Allison
Okay, so i really don’t like this. Like, reallllyyyyy, don’t like this. Zoya came out with a “leopard” topper, but it’s basically the same as OPI’s shatter polish circa, what, 2011? It wasn’t cute then and it’s not cute now. The saving grace to this was that I applied it super thick so the crackles came out much chunkier, reminding me of a giraffe print, more than leopard, if anything. I think in the right colour combo this may be cute, but personally, I don’t want to relive my 2011 nails.
Chiara
Purple is my all-time fave so I’m biased for loving this, but it truly is so pretty. This grape-coloured shade is just really nice.
Cookie
I layered Cookie, a Pixie Dust shade, over Chiara and it gave me the prettiest sparkly mani. I love a good Pixie Dust and for a glitter, it wasn’t absolute hell to remove, so just for that reason, this wins in my book.
